One of my favorite phrases in the New Living Translation of the Bible is the unfailing love of God. Consider Exodus 20:6, But I lavish unfailing love for a thousand generations on those who love me and obey my commands. Or Psalm 25:7, Do not remember the rebellious sins of my youth. Remember me in the light of your unfailing love, for you are merciful, O Lord.

This world often feels like it is “going off the rails”—rioting in the streets, threats of war, financial uncertainty, political unrest, etc. Where is all this headed? What will tomorrow’s headlines be?

I don’t know about you, but I need some unfailing love! I need it to hold me up. I need it to guide me through the day. I need it to help me sleep at night. I need it to stabilize me in this topsy-turvy world.

What a wonderful blessing to know that God showers His unfailing love on all those who turn to and rely on Him.
