The Most Foolish Foolishness
"The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God" (Ps. 14: 1; 53: 1). A fool convinces himself of what he wishes. A denial of the existence of God is the most foolish foolishness. But, many who deny the existence of God are considered to be smart and scientific. In reality though, to deny the existence of God leaves too many unanswered questions to be either intelligent or scientific.

For example, how could there be CREATION without a CREATOR? Spontaneous generation is the figment of the imagination and has never been proven. How could there be LIFE that never came from LIFE? Real science says that life can come from only life. How could there be DESIGN without a DESIGNER? "For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God" (Heb. 3: 4). To assume that everything is an accident is just too much. How could there be LAW i.e. law of gravity, etc. without a LAW-GIVER? The creation is governed by many laws. If God didn't give them, who did?

The only sensible way to explain our world is to start with a self-existent FIRST CAUSE. Something or some being had to exist in the beginning from which everything else has come. In syllogistic form, it goes like this: Something cannot come from nothing, which we know is a fact. But something is, or does exist, therefore, something always was! Thus a self-existent first cause is proven by both the Bible and science. The something that always was is GOD!
Isn't it much more sensible to start with a living, powerful Being as the FIRST CAUSE than to start with lifeless, powerless matter? True wisdom says, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" (Gen. 1: 1). Think on these things.
